Aboitiz Construction reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability by participating in a coastal cleanup drive along the stretch of Barangays Sto. Niño Sur and Norte in Iloilo City last February 26, 2025.
The initiative was held in partnership with the Iloilo City Environment and Natural Resources Office as part of the city’s Paraw Regatta Festival.
During the cleanup, Aboitiz Construction team members collected approximately 25 kilograms of waste, including plastics and wood debris, contributing to global efforts to reduce ocean pollution.
“This initiative reflects our responsibility to protect the environment and promote sustainable practices in the communities where we operate. By taking part in activities like this, we hope to inspire more people to take action in preserving our coastal areas,” said Karmine Andrea Ching, Senior Assistant Vice President for Business Transformation at Aboitiz Construction.
