Building for Business to Prosper and for Communities to Thrive
At Aboitiz Construction, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. This webpage version of our Sustainability Report reflects our firm commitment to responsible business practices that create lasting value for our stakeholders and communities. As we move forward, we remain focused on reducing our environmental impact while promoting economic growth and social development.
This report also aligns with the Aboitiz Group’s mission of becoming the country’s first techglomerate—an organization that embraces technological innovation to drive sustainable solutions. By integrating advanced technologies into our operations, we are enhancing efficiency, reducing our carbon footprint, and making significant strides toward building a more sustainable business.
Our commitment to building a better future goes beyond construction. It’s about fostering innovation, resilience, and progress for the next generation. Together, we will continue building a future where businesses and communities can thrive in harmony with our planet.

We prioritize long-term financial stability through fair business practices, generating economic value while upholding social and environmental responsibility. At Aboitiz Construction, sustainability is not just a goal but an integral part of how we build. Our Economic, Environmental, Social, and Governance (EESG) strategy guides us in balancing growth with responsible business practices. Committed to constructing quality structures with safety and sustainability at the forefront, we ensure our projects contribute to both business success and the well-being of communities and the environment. Our purpose, “building for business to prosper and communities to thrive,” drives every project we undertake.
We take pride in adopting sustainable practices that not only enhance our operations but also contribute to shaping a greener, more resilient future. As part of the Aboitiz Group’s “Great Transformation” into the Philippines’ first techglomerate, we are integrating smart solutions and eco-friendly techniques into our operations, ensuring that what we build today lays the foundation for a sustainable tomorrow.
Over the years, Aboitiz Construction has been committed to driving progress while staying true to our core values—ensuring that our projects create lasting value for businesses and communities alike.
A materiality assessment (MA) is the process of identifying and prioritizing the most relevant economic, environmental, social, and governance (EESG) issues that significantly impact both the business and its stakeholders. To ensure a thorough and unbiased evaluation, we engaged a third-party expert to guide this assessment.
To facilitate this, we underwent this process:
We consulted key stakeholders, including employees, clients, suppliers, and regulators, to gather input on the most important EESG issues.
We reviewed internal data, external trends, industry benchmarks, and regulatory requirements to gain a deeper understanding of relevant issues.
Based on stakeholder input and data analysis, we prioritized the most relevant issues that could significantly impact both the business and stakeholders.
We created a materiality matrix to visually represent and rank the significance of each issue.
The findings from the materiality assessment were used to refine our strategic direction, ensuring alignment with critical sustainability challenges and stakeholder expectations.
Aboitiz Construction upholds sustainability across all our operations. Our commitment ensures that every stakeholder—whether clients, partner communities, or employees—benefits from our sustainability initiatives. We take pride in building structures that drive progress, empower communities, and protect the environment. Our initiatives are a direct result of our unwavering commitment to EESG leadership within the construction industry.
We aim for long-term financial stability by creating value for stakeholders through fair practices and responsible partnerships that benefit both businesses and communities.
In every project, we are committed to sustainability and minimizing our environmental footprint.
We foster positive community impact by empowering people and promoting inclusive growth.
We uphold effective governance through transparency, accountability, and ethical decision-making in all aspects of our operations.
At Aboitiz Construction, we are committed to fostering long-term partnerships with our sustainability allies, ensuring that our projects contribute to a greener and more responsible future.
